About

Strawberry Shortcake was first introduced as a greeting card in the early 1970s. Her cute and curious character, expanded to 32 berry, sweet characters with their own personalities and pets.

Throughout the year’s fans watched Strawberry grow up right before their eyes and grow with her too, starting as a young 6-year-old in Strawberryland with her sister and sidekick dog, Pupcake, to her teenage years, with the ability to find big possibilities in everything.

Today, Strawberry Shortcake inspires girls to make the world a better, sweet-smelling place, where every little berries effort can make a huge difference. Strawberry demonstrates leadership, believing in yourself, celebrating differences, freedom to experiment (and sometimes fail), and girl power.
