Huckleberry Pie

Huckleberry Pie is Strawberry's neighbor. He lives in a roomy huckleberry house just across the valley. Huck would be the first to admit that his house is usually a bit untidy. Huckleberry loves the berry crop he grows​ because it usually requires very little attention. The huckleberries grow​ wild, and all he needs to do is water them every now and again.​So, he has plenty of time to indulge in activities closer to his heart ... fishing, playing, and just being lazy. Several days a week, Huckleberry​ and his dog, Pupcake, go fishing in the Soda Pop Stream. Here, they sit​ happily for hours, catching candy trout and napping in the warm summer sun. Pupcake is, in many ways, a carbon copy of Huckleberry. They enjoy the same activities - or is it inactivity’s - and take great pleasure in doing nothing together.​ Huckleberry Pie is a Huck Finn-like fellow who is always looking for fun. He is Strawberry's foil in many respects, but they like and understand one another. Huckleberry can be called upon to help Strawberry with her​ chores. He will do so reluctantly but usually ends up having fun. He loves a good joke.
